July Event Guide

There’s a good crop of events happening in Medway through July, so we’ve selected some of the highlights here in our featured events section. As always, there’s a more extensive listing further down covering all kinds of extra things that are also going on. Medway is still surprisingly bad at telling itself what is going on locally, so please do get in touch if you’re planning or running an event so we can include it here.

Medway Gaming Festival

1 - 2 Jul / Gaming / Chatham Historic Dockyard, Chatham

Medway’s gaming festival is back for a second year, with a packed lineup of events this weekend. There’s a giant gaming hall, creator talks, retro games, tabletop gaming, cosplay, and loads more. There’s also the more baffling side that also features pro wrestling and axe throwing, but why not? Then there’s the slightly sinister military integration, which raised a few eyebrows last year. Anyway, it should be fun overall if you can avoid getting recruited. Local Authority will be there selling some merch from our store and promoting this very newsletter too, so come say hi if you’re around. / £18 (one day), £22 (weekend) / more information
