Sorry for your loss, Steven. Re the youngsters failing to share your enthusiasm, I couldn't get my daughters interested in the Little House books, which I loved as a child, despite my eldest being named Laura after Ms Ingalls Wilder. For those of my vintage, the books are less syrupy than the TV series, Little House on the Prairie. Now, the granddaughter doesn't like the Muppets, which means we can't enjoy the best version of A Christmas Carol together.

Ah, the days of browsing in MBE and the InShops store. Thanks for the nostalgia hit.
