Hey.
I usually send out an extra edition of Local Authority to paid supporters on Wednesdays, but this newsletter launched one year ago tomorrow, so I’m sending this little state of the newsletter to everyone who reads this thing.
I hope you’ll forgive the little self-indulgence of this edition. I know some readers like to understand how the newsletter works behind the scenes, and others don’t care at all. If you’re in the later camp, this might not be the edition for you, and we’ll be back with the usual Medway news and commentary on Friday.
But as we celebrate our first birthday, this issue will be a bit of a look back at where this newsletter came from, where we are now, and where we’re heading as we enter our second year.
