Due to other commitments Cllr. George Crozer wasn't avaliable at the time to be included in the group photo. However, if you have watched Kelly Tolhurst's video, Cllr. Crozer is in fact featured holding a campaign poster and does speak to camera and said:
"Medway Council seems to make a habit of implementing badly planned roadworks and it never learns from its past mistakes. Look at the recent fiasco we've just had on Four Elms Hill."
Therefore it's completely not correct to say that Cllr. Crozer is the only one of our group not to campaign on this issue. Cllr. Crozer has indeed raised questions about the closure last night at the Overview & Scrutiny Committee, and so did Cllrs. Pearce and Sands at last night's Hoo & Chattenden Parish Council meeting (towards Cllr. Vince Maple).
Our group position and our three individual positions are perfectly clear, we are, of course, very concerned with this road closure.
The Member of Parliament and us local Councillors are all very concerned with this regardless of politics and political group.
Sorry to hear about the journalism course being cut at UoK at Medway. I took my first creative writing course with UoK when it was at Bridge Wardens College in the Dockyard. A Certificate in Practical and Imaginative Writing. They stopped that course after a few years in favour of journalism courses, and now there will be no writing courses. Brexit has a lot to answer for.

Ok Cllr Pearce, but what is the alternative solution?
