How strange that National Highways have asked to put the building of new homes at Hoo to be put on hold to prevent pressure being put on the M2. For one thing the government are pushing for Medway to build more homes and another thing is, I haven't seen any plans put out by the Highways agency to say that they are objecting to the 2nd tunnel because that will put pressure on the M2.
Really pleased to report that waste collections went ahead exactly as planned in Brompton. Full marks to the communications from local Councillors especially Mayor Gurung. One day someone might ask if we are consuming too much; far too many home deliveries? The consequences of many flats are also becoming apparent and it's going to get worse!
Bin collections in Fort Pitt were last collected on the 28th December, They are next due to be collected on the 12th Jan. A whole 15 days later, unacceptable Medway Council.
Bin bags stacking high in the streets and ever increasing amounts of litter. Is this what we are to expect from Medway's Labour council.
