This week marks pretty much the exact six month anniversary since the first Local Authority went out! The next year is going to be a big year for Medway as we both try to return to some kind of normality following the pandemic and as we also move toward the big local elections next year. I’m thrilled that I get to write about all of these things, as well as all of the other silly nonsense in these towns. This newsletter has been a hell of a journey so far, and thanks so much to all of you for reading this thing.

It feels like the Castle Concerts come round earlier and earlier every year, but that’s probably just because last years series was delayed to September due to the pandemic. So a mere six months later, here we are talking about the 2022 series.
This morning saw the lineup for this years event, and it’s a bonanza for people of a certain age who don’t particularly enjoy music anymore.
