If I went to a town in Tuscany and they were holding a Tuscan Festival, I wouldn't think that 'very odd'. Or a town in Provence holding a Provençal Festival. What's odd about an English Festival in an English city?
The difficulty with taxis now is that since the pandemic hit, the numbers of available taxis have vastly decreased. This means you can't always reliably get one when you need one. I'd like to make more use of taxis, but if I can't guarantee I'll be able to get one, e.g. from Rainham rail station to home, I'm not going to make plans for an evening out that are contingent on being able to find a taxi at that time. So I'll use another plan instead, one that doesn't involve taxis. And I guess other people do the same? So the net result is that few people use taxis, more drivers leave, and the whole thing spirals downwards?
Using the prepared site at Rochester Airport to overcome the Housing crisis is a Great Idea! Put all that infrastructure to good use.
Cozenton Park is a great name. Cozenton is first recorded (as Cusinton') in AD 1235, I believe.

Give us a clue: which document mentions the closure of the visitor centre?

Thanks. I wonder where that leaves the Huguenot Museum. I see Guildhall Museum will start charging as well.
