Lots of flats, a new restaurant at Dockside, and a weird reverse conversion

Welcome to the latest premium Local Authority, looking at the most exciting (yes, really) planning applications of the month. I’m particularly excited to report that some of them are exceedingly baffling this month.

Medway receives about 200 planning applications in the average month, and I’m the idiot who actually spends his time reading through them. Most of them are pretty boring - house extensions are very common, as are tree removals and driveways - but search through enough and you inevitably find something more interesting. Below are a selection of the somewhat more interesting applications submitted to Medway Council over the past month.
